BUFFALO, NY, USA – November 1, 2023 – NOVAIR USA Corporation (“NOVAIR” www.novair-usa.com), the premier manufacturer of in-house oxygen, nitrogen, medical air & vacuum generators, today received an achievement award for “Newcomer of the Year” from New York State’s leading medical technology and life sciences association, LifeSciencesNY, (formerly known as “MedTech” https://medtech.org), at the association’s gala Annual Awards Dinner held this year in the Seneca One Tower, downtown Buffalo, NY. This year’s Awards Dinner was attended by well over 100 life sciences leaders from throughout New York State’s government, private entrepreneurial, and academic circles. LifeSciencesNY’s Executive Director, Win Thurlow, presented NOVAIR USA CEO John Longuil with the award, one of 10 annual awards given out on the night to leading life sciences organizations like Baxter, AdvaMed, and Cornell University.

Upon receiving the award, NOVAIR USA CEO John Longuil remarked, “While we are a newcomer to the US market, NOVAIR has been a global industry leader for a long time. Founded in the 1970’s with the company name coming from the French translation for ‘new air,’ our founder originally set about to find new ways to take the air around us, filter it, and separate it into individual elements through the PSA process. Over the past 45 years, we have continued to lead in innovating that process, while also providing gas solutions to the medical laboratory sector, biotechnology field, and many other industries.
